Model Co - Spring Racing Essentials (Red Lip & Black Mascara)

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a lovely morning so far! Today I have 2 make up products by ModelCo to show you - which are perfect for the Spring Racing season! You can never go wrong with lashings of mascara and a red lip so today that's what i'll be showing you! The Power Lash Long Wear Black Mascara (RRP $24.00 , available online here) is a brilliant mascara that thickens your lashes and noticeably lengthens them - without clumping! This was seriously hard to remove so is perfect for long days out in the heat! I've also been loving the Lip Lacquer Liquid Lipstick in the shade Fire Red, which is a gorgeous blue toned red which makes your teeth look whiter - and a bonus - this product smells like cherries, YUM!! It was really hard not to lick my lips but I managed to get a shot just in time. This is really easy to apply, but is slightly sticky on the lips, although it does leave a nice stain afterwards. This retails for RRP $17.00 and is available here. Check out how these looked on me below!

NCLA - Designer Nail Wraps

Hey everyone! Today I am showing you the new NCLA - Designer Nail Wraps in the designs "Truth In Turqouise" and "Amethyst". These nail wraps are unlike any i've tried before - they actually work! They're far more easier to apply, smooth down without making bubbles and not to mention - it is the longest lasting nail wrap i've ever used! (They've just been awarded the best nail wraps in the US - that's saying something!). These wraps retail for $22.00 and is available online at peppermayo.com. Today i'm showing you "Truth in Turqouise" on my nails. All I did was apply a base coat of OPI - Nail Envy and waited for it to dry. Then I applied the wraps and filed off any excess from the tips. I finished it off with 1 coat of Seche Vite. These lasted 5 whole days without any chipping, peeling or lifting! They definitely would of lasted longer but I was going a little crazy not being able to do my nails for 5 days so I removed them. They remove like regular nail polish too! These nail wraps are so great and perfect if you are in a rush or don't have time for detailed nail art! I also really want to customise my own wraps - the possibilites are endless! Thanks so much for reading and have a great weekend!

Essie - Mirror Metallics

Hi guys! Hope you are all well! Today I have some colours from the Essie - Mirror Metallics collection to show you, even though it has been out for quite some time, it's still a classic collection I wanted to try! There are 5 colours in this collection but today i'll be showing you 4 of them; Penny Talk (a bronze penny chrome shade), Blue Rhapsody (a mid silvery-blue chrome), Nothing Else Metals (a silvery lilac) and No Place Like Chrome (a silver chrome). As usual with chrome polishes, these dry very quick so you need to have a quick, light hand when applying otherwise you will drag the polish and it will be uneven. They are amazing colours and Penny Talk is so worth the hype! I applied 2 coats of each followed by 1 coat of G&G topcoat. Please excuse the different nail lengths in the photos, I had a break when I swatched the second half of these polishes. Essie can be found at Myer and Priceline (who have a really great sale on at the moment, selling these mirror metallic polishes for only $4.47!! - i'd suggest jumping online here now!)

Blue Rhapsody
No Place Like Chrome
Nothing Else Matters
Penny Talk
Which colour is your favourite? Hope you enjoyed this post! xx

Opalescence Go Teeth Whitening Treatment

Hi everyone! Hope you are doing well and looking forward to the weekend! Today I have a product to show you by the brand Opalescence, that specialises in teeth whitening. The treatment I tested was the take home pack called Go 6%, an affordable whitening treatment that contains 6% hydrogen peroxide, and is so powerful and effective it is only dispensed by dentists. The way it works is that the powerful whitening gel comes in a prefilled, disposable tray that is simply inserted into the mouth and worn for an hour.

This product was super easy to use but did require a few tasks to be done before and after the application. The packaging says it must be refrigerated when not in use, but when you are intending on using the product you must let it cool to room temperature so you will need to plan in advance if you want to do it that night. It is ideal to do at night once you have finished eating because you need to brush your teeth straight after. Each tray has the letter T and B for top and bottom so you place them in your mouth, over your teeth and gently suck to make the gel adhere to the teeth. Once it feels securely placed you can take the plastic layer off the top of each tray and let it sit in your mouth for about an hour. After an hour it feels a bit funny as you're used to having something in your mouth restricting your teeth from fully closing but that quickly goes back to normal. I then brushed my teeth and examined my teeth. One thing I noticed actually was that some of my teeth had small whiter dots on them compared to the whole tooth, but this completely disappeared by the morning. I definitely noticed my teeth are much whiter than before and look great! It has been a month since I've used my last tray and i'm very happy with the results. Check out the website here to find out where you can try Opalescence in your area.

Before
Right after first treatment was applied, with visible whiter parts of the teeth showing
After, the next morning
I really enjoyed using this product and will definitely be using it when I notice my teeth start to become less white, it is a much quicker alternative to whitening toothpastes or pens and it caused me no sensitivity at all!

Bobbi Brown - New Products 2014

Hi everyone! How are you? I hope you are having a fantastic week so far! Today I have some cosmetics by Bobbi Brown to show you. I have 3 of the new long wear gel sparkle gel liners, as well as 2 brow products, a limited edition Creamy Matte Lip Colour from the upcoming Smokey Nudes collection and 1 nail polish. Let's jump right in! Bobbi Brown is available online at www.bobbibrown.com.au and at Myer and David Jones nationally.

Long-Wear Gel Sparkle Shadow + Liner (RRP $42.00, on counters October 5th) in the shades; 1 Night Sky (a gorgeous deep blue-black with blue and purple sparkles in it), 2 Thunderstorm (a dark gunmetal with silver sparkles) and 4 Sunlit Bronze (a beautiful deep copper/bronze with copper and red sparkles). They are all magnificent products to see in person, with their shimmering sparkle that catches the light beautifully. When applied, they are quite sheer (which is perfect for the 'shadow' part of the product, but in terms of the 'liner' part of the product, it was difficult to build opacity for a strong lined eye look. The products are super creamy and glide on very well. I am yet to test it's long-wear capabilities.
Night Sky
Thunderstorm
Sunlit Bronze

Creamy Matte Lip Colour in the shade 21 Warm Nude, a nude peach creme (RRP $44.00, available here). This shade suits my olive complexion perfectly. It is just on the dark nude side but compliments my eyes and brown hair really nicely. It is creamy, as well as being a matte and lasts for about 4-5 hours before I notice it needs to be reapplied. It's so soft when it's on your lips! I'm in love!

Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up in the shades Clear and 6 Rich Brown (RRP $44.00, available here). This product is very straight forward and tames the brows in place effectively. The rich brown colour is slightly too light for my eyebrows and make them look a bit ashy but on the right colour, it would definitely make them appear more precise.

Nail Polish in the shade Roza, is described on the website as a pink grey, but is more of a gorgeous sheer beige nail polish which applies perfectly in 2 coats. (RRP $23.00, available here)

What's your favourite Bobbi Brown products? I'm hooked on their creamy matte lipsticks and nail polishes!! Thanks for reading. xx
